We will enjoy a series of Eurovision stars and legends at the Grand Final of this year's competition in Liverpool.

The Eurovision 2023 Grand Final, which will take place on Saturday 13 May, will be a celebration of the music of our beloved Contest, as well as the world-famous songs of the host city.

The Eurovision Song Contest Grand Final will feature live performances from last year's winners, Kalush Orchestra, Sam Ryder – runner-up in 2022 and a Flag Parade featuring Ukrainian Eurovision Song Contest icons.

The spectacle will complement a large-scale celebration of Liverpool's musical heritage – featuring even more big names from the Competition's history.

Voices of a new generation

The grand final of this year's Eurovision Song Contest, hosted in Liverpool on behalf of the 2022 winning country, Ukraine, will open with last year's winners Kalush Orchestra and a dynamic performance entitled "Voices of a New Generation". generation).

The Kalush Orchestra won the hearts of Eurovision viewers around the world last year – and so are returning to kick off the 2023 Grand Final with a performance featuring their winning song 'Stefania'.

During the parade of flags and all 26 finalists, viewers will witness a unique performance by iconic Ukrainian artists who have participated in the Eurovision Song Contest in the past.

Go_A, Jamala, Tina Karol and Verka Serduchka will take to the stage and remind us all exactly why they became the favorites of the Eurovision Song Contest, presenting a new version of their songs combined with British classics.

Sam Ryder

In the first number of the break, during which voting takes place across Europe and the world, British "spaceman" Sam Ryder will make his triumphant return to the Eurovision stage after leading the UK to its biggest success last year in the Competition for over two decades.

With his long list of achievements following his stunning performance at the 2022 Contest with 'Space Man', including a UK No.1 debut album, a nomination for Best Breakthrough Act at the BRIT Awards and his performance at concert for last year's Platinum Jubilee, Grand Final viewers can expect an incredible performance guaranteed to surprise.

Liverpool songs

The final number of the break, called 'The Liverpool Songbook', is a celebration of the host city's famous contribution to the world of pop music.

The BBC brought together six iconic artists from past Eurovision Song Contests – Mahmood from Italy, Netta from Israel, Daði Freyr from Iceland, Cornelia Jakobs from Sweden, Duncan Laurence from the Netherlands – as well as Sonia from Liverpool, who are celebrating 30 years since they finished second in the competition in 1993.

Liverpool has delivered some of the world's most famous and beloved songs in history: these Eurovision Song Contest legends will all perform their own versions of some classic hits.

Also in the Grand Final, as well as the Semi-Finals, Merseyside-born Melanie C of the Spice Girls will welcome – with her voice – the presenters to the stage during all three live shows of the Eurovision Song Contest 2023

Eurovision 2022 winners Kalush Orchestra said: “We've been looking forward to performing in Liverpool ever since it was announced to host the contest last year. The city has a world-renowned musical heritage and we are delighted to finally be able to announce what an honor it will be for us to be there."
