February 20, 2021

Dua Lipa was included in TIME magazine's "TIME100 Next" list, an extension of the "TIME100" main list that highlights the 100 people shaping the future.

The 25-year-old singer is also featured on one of the covers of the magazine for the list "TIME100 Next" with the next 100 most influential people in the world, which is composed of people from different industries.

"I do not think in a million years I would think of releasing an album this way," said Dua Lipa, referring to the pandemic that overturned the original plan for the release of her "Future Nostalgia" album.

"As I was promoting everything from my couch, it was amazing to see that no matter what happens, music is such a common language. You can release the album at any time ", he notes.
The tribute to Dua Lipa accompanies a short text by Kylie Minogue.

"Dua Lipa is a shining star, charting a dazzling trajectory in the pop world. Just four years ago, she released the first of her two albums. "Today, she dances hand in hand with the spirit of the times, having accurately laser engraved her place in the cultural landscape", writes the Australian singer.

"I entered Dua's trajectory last November when I appeared as a guest on the livestream concert of 'Studio 2054'", he continues.

"The production was spectacular and open to everything, in a way it seemed to come from the future and be retro at the same time, with its instantly recognizable voice sealing the clever songs," she describes.

"While I know what it's like to be in the eye of the storm, in this case, I was able to see the wider view from the periphery. "Her famous work ethic radiates throughout the production," Kylie Minogue underlines for Dua Lipa.

"You have to work hard to get some luck," her father told her when she was younger. He seems to have heard it. Her achievements are even more remarkable, since she is 25 years old. She is kind, awesome and smart. He is a normal pop giant. "I, like millions of others, look forward to more and more than La Lipa."
