Dua Lipa and Callum Turner are reportedly engaged after the actor proposed during the Christmas holiday.
According to The Sun, the couple, who have been dating for about a year, got engaged quietly and are planning to celebrate with loved ones on New Year’s Eve. The outlet revealed that the Levitating singer and the Fantastic Beasts star are “so in love,” with Turner popping the question on one knee.
The engagement news coincides with Lipa’s preparations for a star-studded New Year’s Eve bash in London, following a stellar year for her career. The singer plans to celebrate both the happy news and the conclusion of the first leg of her Radical Optimism world tour, which wrapped up in Asia.
Romance rumors between Lipa and Turner first surfaced in January when the pair attended an after-party for his American war drama miniseries Masters of the Air in London. Days later, they were spotted having dinner with friends in Los Angeles, fueling speculation about their relationship.
Over the summer, Turner joined Lipa’s family at Glastonbury, where she headlined, and he has been seen supporting her at several events, including a performance at the Royal Albert Hall.
Callum Turner, a British actor who started his career as a fashion model, has since gained prominence in film and television.
