Drake's new album is in the final stages before its release.
Drake has promised his fans that his sixth full-length album, "Certified Lover Boy", was due to be released last January, but an unexpected knee injury and the rapper's surgery went back on schedule.

The Canadian artist left his fans on hold during this year and did not provide any new information about his plans for the release of "Certified Lover Boy".

A few weeks ago, Drake announced that his new record would be revealed "before the end of the summer", however there has been no official confirmation to date.

Drake made a surprise appearance on SiriusXM's "Fry Yiy Friday" radio show on Friday, July 9, where he referred to the progress of the highly anticipated "Certified Lover Boy".

"You know, Uncle Drake is coming home to do the mixing for the album," he told the show, adding that "a lot of new songs are coming."

Although he did not specify when the album mix is expected to be completed, Drake fans are convinced that the release of "Certified Lover Boy" will not be long.

Drake recently starred in the upcoming single "Wasting Time" by up and coming Brent Faiyaz and also met Migos on the song "Havin My Way" on their new album "Culture III" and Nicki Minaj on "Seeing Green" from the re-release of his mixtape Beam Me Up Scotty.
