DaBaby is facing the possibility of being sentenced to prison for beating an elderly man.
DaBaby is accused of felony assault for violently beating an elderly citizen during the filming of a video.
Gary Pagar rented his cottage in Runyon Canyon in DaBaby during the peak of restrictions for COVID-19 in Los Angeles. The rapper signed a lease agreement stating, among other things, that only 12 people were allowed to be on the property.
However, DaBaby ignored the rules and brought more than 40 people home with him to shoot the video for "Play U Lay" with Stunna 4 Vegas, including YouTuber Jake Paul.
Gary Pagar realized that DaBaby had violated the terms of their agreement and contacted the rapper and his team, who assured him that the crew would not stay on the property for long.
However, on December 2, Pagar decided to visit the property and finally met a group of almost 40 people. The owner tried to talk to DaBaby, but was attacked by a member of the rapper's team, an incident recorded by the camera.
DaBaby then chased the old man around the property and when he finally caught him, he allegedly hit him in the mouth and broke his tooth.
When the owner of the property fell to the ground, DaBaby, a man named Thankgod Awute and the rapper's team, started kicking and kicking him while he was in pain.
They also took Pagar's phone and threw it at each other to prevent him from calling the police. Eventually, Pagar picked up his phone again and called the police.
Also, DaBaby, whose real name is Jonathan Kirk, allegedly never paid the rental price of the property.
DaBaby has now been charged with felony assault, while Awute has been charged with felony robbery.
Recently, a video reappeared in which DaBaby shoots and kills a teenager inside a Walmart store in the Charlotte area of North Carolina in November 2018.
Earlier this month, the 30-year-old rapper shot in the leg a man who allegedly broke into his North Carolina mansion.
A few months ago, it was announced that DaBaby was under astronomical investigation for a deadly gun attack after a fight in a bowling alley with the brother of the mother of his child, DaniLeigh. He had previously been arrested and questioned in connection with a shooting and shooting incident in Miami.
In the summer of 2021, DaBaby had provoked strong reactions to the homophobic comments he made on stage during his appearance at the "Rolling Loud" music festival in Miami.
