"We Don't Talk Anymore" was the third radio single from Charlie Puth's debut album Nine Track Mind, released in 2016.

The music video for Charlie Puth and Selena Gomez's collaboration broke the 2 billion YouTube views barrier in December 2018, just over two years after its release.

Directed by Phil Pinto, the video follows Charlie Puth and a former relationship as they try to live without each other in New York.

The two protagonists cycle through concerts, parties and dates with other people, but they just can't forget each other. Despite all this, they never take the step to approach each other again, hence the title of the song.

It is worth noting that Selena Gomez does not appear at all in the music video for "We Don't Talk Anymore".

"We Don't Talk Anymore" is Charlie Puth's second most-viewed song on YouTube since his collaboration with Wiz Khalifa on "See You Again" for the movie "Furious 7," which is currently has 5.95 billion views.

It's also Selena Gomez's first song to surpass 2 billion views on YouTube, following her collaboration with DJ Snake, Ozuna and Cardi B on 'Taki Taki' at 2.4 billion views.

"We Don't Talk Anymore" climbed to No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100 and is one of four songs by Charlie Puth and one of nine songs by Selena Gomez to appear in the Top 10 on the chart.
