Céline Dion expresses gratitude to fans for their 'steadfast support' during health challenges

Céline Dion has expressed her gratitude to fans for their "unwavering support" during her health journey.

The Canadian music icon shared a heartfelt message with her 8.9 million Instagram followers on New Year's Eve, reflecting on the past year. Accompanying a photo of herself with hands in a prayer pose, she wrote, "As we wrap up another year together, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt thanks for your unwavering support."

In December 2022, Céline revealed her diagnosis with stiff-person syndrome, a rare neurological condition. Despite undergoing various treatments, she made a triumphant return to music in July 2024, performing Hymne à l'amour from the Eiffel Tower during the Paris Olympics Opening Ceremony. Later in the year, she made a notable appearance at Elie Saab’s fashion show in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in November.

Céline closed her message by extending warm holiday wishes to her supporters. "Your love and energy inspire me every day," the 56-year-old shared. "I wish you all a joyful holiday season filled with warmth, laughter, and cherished moments with loved ones. Here's to endless possibilities in the coming year. Wishing you a safe holiday and a fabulous New Year!"
