Cardi B confirms Offset split

Cardi B has confirmed that she and Offset have separated after six years of marriage.

During an Instagram Live on Sunday night, Cardi confirmed speculation that she and Offset have called it quits.

"I've been single for a minute now," she told fans. "But I have been afraid to like - not afraid, I just don't know how to tell the world. But I feel like today has been a sign. The last time I got on Live I kind of wanted to tell you guys, but I didn't know how to tell you, so I changed my mind. But it has been like this for a minute now. I just took it as a sign."

Cardi continued, "So, I wanna start 2024 fresh, open. I don't know, I'm curious for a new life, for a new beginning. Yeah, I'm excited."

Rumours that the duo, both 31, had split began after fans noticed that they had unfollowed each other on Instagram earlier this month.

Additionally, the Bodak Yellow rapper shared cryptic messages on her Instagram Stories last week. She wrote, "You know when you just out grow relationships" and "I'm tired of protecting peoples feelings...I GOTTA PUT MYSELF FIRST!"

Meanwhile, the Migos rapper took to X/Twitter on Sunday to deny recent cheating accusations from rapper Blueface, writing, "I ain't never talk or touch that lady. Real talk man you need some help!"

The estranged couple quietly tied the knot on 20 September 2017. They share two children, five-year-old Kulture and two-year-old Wave.

The pair initially split in 2018 shortly after the birth of Kulture, after Offset had been at the centre of cheating rumours. In early 2019, Cardi shared that they were "working things out". The following year, she filed for divorce, however, they did not go through with it.
