BTS collaborates with Ed Sheeran on the new single "Permission To Dance"

July 06, 2021

BTS has revealed the tracklist of the new CD single that will be released in physical form on July 9.

The CD single will contain the recent success of "Butter" of the K-pop band, but also a brand new song entitled "Permission To Dance" in which the boy band reunites with Ed Sheeran.

Ed Sheeran co-wrote "Permission To Dance" with fellow regular Steve Mac, Snow Patrol's friend Johnny McDaid and Jenna Andrews, who co-created "Better."

The song was produced by Steve Mac, Jenna Andrews and Stephen Kirk.

The upcoming CD single will also contain the orchestral versions of both "Butter" and "Permission To Dance", which are eagerly awaited by BTS fans.

At the same time, "Butter" continues its triumphant course, having completed five consecutive weeks of stay at No. 1 of the American Billboard Hot 100 after its debut at the top of the rankings. This is the best the band has ever scored.

Ed Sheeran first collaborated with BTS on the song "Make It Right" from the EP "Map of the Soul: Persona" which was released in April 2019.

In October 2019, "Make It Right" acquired a new remix with the participation of the American artist Lauv.
