Bad Bunny: 'Un Verano Sin Ti' is the most streamed album in Spotify history

Another big record from Bad Bunny.

Bad Bunny's 'Un Verano Sin Ti' is now the most streamed album on Spotify.

The streaming service has confirmed that 'Un Verano Sin Ti' has become the most popular album of all time in Spotify's history globally.

The record for the most streamed album on Spotify was previously held by Ed Sheeran's '÷' (Divide).

"Un Verano Sin Ti" was released in May 2022 and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, spending a total of 13 weeks at the top.

Also, 22 songs from the album appeared simultaneously on the Billboard Hot 100, the most in one week for a major Latin music artist and the most Spanish-language songs by an artist in the same week on the chart.

"Un Verano Sin Ti" also garnered 356.66 million streams in its first week of release and broke the record for the most streamed Latin album in one week.

In addition, Bad Bunny's "Un Verano Sin Ti" became the first non-English-language album to reach the top spot on the annual Billboard 200.

'Un Verano Sin Ti', which features collaborations with a wide range of artists including The Marías, Buscabulla and Chencho Corleone, also made history at the Grammy Awards, becoming the first Spanish-language album to be nominated for Album of the Year.

'Un Verano Sin Ti''s new milestone for the most streamed album in Spotify history is reflected in Bad Bunny's emergence as the streaming service's most streamed artist in 2022 for the third year in a row.

Bad Bunny talked about his success in an interview with Billboard in December.

“I never dreamed that I wanted to be the biggest or No. 1. I just wanted to make it. Why; Because I love what I do. I've been making beats since I was 13, writing, singing songs in my head,” he said.

“I never said I wanted to be the biggest or the best or the richest. I did it because I loved it and my only dream was to be able to make a living from it," he said.
