Bad Bunny has officially announced the release of his sixth studio album, Debí Tirar Más Fotos.
The 30-year-old Puerto Rican rapper and singer unveiled the news on Instagram on Thursday (December 26, 2024) with a short film confirming the album’s arrival. The announcement followed the release of a visualizer for the track PIToRRO DE COCO, which has already amassed over a million views and 150,000 likes.
The video features acclaimed film director Jacobo Morales and highlights Puerto Rico as the most cherished destination among the places Bad Bunny has visited. Reflecting on life, he said in the clip: “I should have lived more, I should have loved more while I could. While you’re alive, one should love as much as they can.”
Set to debut on January 5, 2025, the album follows his 2023 release, Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana. Fans got a sneak peek of the upcoming project on Christmas Day when Bad Bunny teased the inclusion of 17 tracks by posting the word “Bomba” repeated 17 times on the platform X.
The album will also include El Clúb, which recently climbed to number two on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart.
Bad Bunny has previously credited his success in the United States to the contributions of hardworking Latinos. In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, he said: “At the end of the day, my success in the United States I owe to the hardworking Latinos who have helped make the country what it is today.”
The Grammy-winning artist also reflected on his journey, admitting that he initially tried to create a persona that wasn’t true to himself. He shared: “Maybe at the very beginning of my career, I tried to pretend I was someone that I’m not, but I learned that’s the way artists lose themselves. They forget about who they are as a person and invent a fictitious personality.”
