Bad Bunny: “I'm not Taylor Swift – Lower your expectations”

He's about to take over stadiums across the globe with his most ambitious tour yet, but Bad Bunny wants fans to know one thing upfront: “Don’t expect Taylor Swift energy.” The Puerto Rican superstar, fresh off the success of his sixth studio album DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS, is kicking off a global tour this November that promises to break records across Latin America, Europe, and Australia.

The tour, produced by Live Nation, will hit major stops including Costa Rica, Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, Australia (for the very first time!), and Japan. From May through July, he’ll bring his high-voltage shows to Europe with packed-out dates in Spain, Portugal, Germany, France, and more.

While comparisons to Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour are inevitable, Bad Bunny is setting the record straight. “Guys, I’m not Taylor Swift — this isn’t a nostalgic tribute to my entire discography,” he told Variety in a recent interview. “This tour is about DeBÍ. Sure, I’ll throw in a few older tracks people love, but I’m not doing the retrospective thing. You’re coming to live the now.”

Before going global, he’s making history at home with a massive 30-show run at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico — an unprecedented summer residency expected to draw over 250,000 fans to the island.

With 2.6 million tickets already sold and projected revenues in the hundreds of millions, Bad Bunny becomes the first Spanish-speaking artist to headline stadiums in seven different countries. And if early signs are anything to go by, 2025 might just be his most dominant year yet.
