Ariana Grande Says 'Wicked' Made Her Feel 'More of a Singer'

It looks like Ariana Grande is having one of the best times of her life while preparing for the film adaptation of the musical 'Wicked', in which she will star alongside Cynthia Erivo.

The 29-year-old singer has been very active on Instagram and TikTok in recent days to promote new products from her own makeup line r.e.m. beauty and apparently this has caused concern among some of her fans, who don't see Ariana Grande doing music.

October marks two years since Ariana Grande's last album, Positions, was released in 2020.

The following year, Ariana Grande featured on The Weeknd's hit remix of 'Save Your Tears', which peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and on the song "I Don't Do Drugs" by Doja Cat from her album "Planet Her".

Her fans can't wait for her new songs and often take to the comments of her social media posts to express their anticipation.

"Please remember you're a singer," one follower commented on a recent Ariana Grande TikTok post about r.e.m beauty.

Ariana gave an unexpected answer and referenced 'Wicked' as the film is currently filming.

"I've actually never felt more comfortable with my voice or as a singer," she wrote and added several bubble emojis, referring to her character in the film, Glinda, who travels in a large magical bubble.

While Ariana Grande's die-hard fans have been upset by the lack of new music and live performances, her appearance on 'Wicked' will probably make up for it.

In April, the film's director, Jon M. Chu, announced that the film adaptation of "Wicked" will be split into two parts scheduled for Christmas 2024 and 2025.

That means two movies starring Ariana Grande and two soundtracks.
