Ariana Grande is making a highly anticipated comeback with the deluxe edition of her latest album, Eternal Sunshine, set to drop later this month.
After stepping away from music to focus on her role in Wicked, the 31-year-old singer and actress has finally announced the release date of this special edition, which will include six brand-new tracks.
In a simple yet exciting Instagram post, Grande confirmed that Eternal Sunshine Deluxe: Brighter Days Ahead will be released on March 28.
A Shift in Priorities
Grande first rose to fame as a Nickelodeon star in Victorious before becoming a global pop sensation. However, following her time filming Wicked, she admitted that she is reevaluating her priorities.
Speaking on The Bodybuilders podcast, she made a statement that surprised fans:
“What I’m going to say might scare my fans, but I love them—and they’ll get over it. We’ll be here forever. I’ll keep writing music, going on stage, and doing pop stuff, I promise. But I don’t think I’ll continue at the same pace as I have for the last decade.”
Touring Rumors and Label Response
Since her Sweetener tour, Grande has not returned to the road, despite releasing two successful albums, Thank U, Next (2019) and Positions (2020).
Late last year, rumors circulated that Ticketmaster had listed 15 of her concerts for 2025, sparking speculation about an upcoming tour. However, her record label, Republic Records, quickly shut down the claims.
In a statement posted on X (formerly Twitter), the label clarified:
"There are no plans to tour next year, but Ariana remains deeply grateful for the love, support, and enthusiasm of her fans."
While a tour may not be on the horizon just yet, Grande’s upcoming deluxe album promises new music and exciting surprises for her fans. Stay tuned for Eternal Sunshine Deluxe: Brighter Days Ahead on March 28!
