Ariana Grande discovers how difficult the role of coach is in "The Voice".

The 28-year-old singer bowed at the premiere of the Battles phase of the American "The Voice", which aired on Monday night, as she had difficulty choosing the winner of her team's first duel.

Competitors Grande Bella DeNapoli and Katie Rae competed in a dynamic rendition of "No More Tears (Enough Is Enough)" by Donna Summer and Barbra Streisand that impressed all coaches.

"I do not want to be too emotional. I love you both so much. You are both so consistently amazing, "Ariana Grande said in a trembling voice.

"There is nothing that each of you can not sing and I feel so privileged to work with you and to spend this time with you (…) I am so proud of both of you," he continued.

Speaking about the song they performed, Ariana Grande added: "This song means a lot to me. "My mom and I sang it together in the car all the time."

But when it came time to choose the winner, it was difficult. "My God, I hate that so much," she said as her voice began to crack.

Kelly Clarkson was moved just by hearing Ariana Grande talk about the two singers. "How does your voice break when you cry? "Just stop!", Said the singer. "I have actually talked to my psychologist about this," Grande replied.

When forced to make the choice, Ariana Grande crowned Katie Rae the winner of the duel. "I think it was just a matter of emotion. "Every time Katie opened her mouth, I shivered," she explained.

But Ariana was not finished, as she quickly hurried to save Bella and keep her in "The Voice", surprising the judges. She then stood up to make it clear that she would not allow any of the other coaches, Blake Shelton, John Legend and Kelly Clarkson, to steal Bella from her team.

"We can not steal now! "You were crying!" Said Kelly Clarkson, laughing.
