Anne-Marie and Shania Twain Collaborate on 'Unhealthy'

The ultimate pop/country tonic.

Talented British singer Anne-Marie joins forces with country pop icon Shania Twain on new single 'Unhealthy'.

The song will feature on Anne-Marie's self-titled third album, titled 'Unhealthy', out July 28 via Major Toms / Asylum Records / Warner Music

'Unhealthy', produced by Conor and Riley McDonough (Jonas Brothers, Joji, John Legend), is the ultimate pop/country tonic.

Anne-Marie has always wanted to write a country-influenced song and decided her upcoming third album would be the perfect setting.

As a lifelong fan of Shania Twain, the queen of country/pop herself Anne-Marie messaged her on social media earlier in the year and suggested they work together.

So, in March 2023, Anne-Marie and Shania Twain met in London and recorded their collaboration.

Anne-Marie's third album, titled Unhealthy, draws inspiration from all the pieces of her life and offers us a glimpse into her world – a world that is far from perfect.

Anne-Marie wrote her new album during a period where she felt ready to re-examine and try to make sense of a series of bad relationships from the past, while also learning to process new relationships positively.

'Unhealthy' takes a journey from chaos to contentment and finds Anne-Marie standing tall and embracing a brand new version of herself that is wilder, bolder and happier than ever.

Bridging themes of sadness, anger, joy, revolution and euphoria, Anne-Marie lives Unhealthy through the good and the bad on her own terms.

Across the album's 13 songs, gutsy anthems of empowerment ("Trainwreck," "Grudge") meet tender, vulnerable pieces ("Kills Me To Love You," "You & I") and anguish ("Haunt You").

The album was co-written and recorded with Kamille, McDonough Brothers, BillenTed, Evan Blair and Nami and features contributions from Aitch ('Psycho'), Khalid ('You & I') and, of course, Shania Twain ('Unhealthy' ).

To date, seven of Anne-Marie's songs have reached the UK Top 10, including 'Psycho' with Aitch, which will feature on 'Unhealthy', she has had two Top 3 albums and has amassed seven billion streams worldwide .

Recently, Anne-Marie collaborated with David Guetta and Coi Leray on 'Baby Don't Hurt Me', which has shot to No. 12 of the International Airplay Chart in Greece.

At the same time, Anne-Marie announced a headline tour of the UK and Ireland which will start in November 2023 and will include a concert at The O2 in London.
