A new book of Amy Winehouse's handwritten lyrics, photographs and personal diaries will be released this summer to mark the 40th anniversary of the legendary singer's birth.
"Amy Winehouse: In Her Words" is expected to be released by HarperCollins on August 29.
In a statement, the publishing house says this 288-page book "showcases her incredible writing talent, her wit, her charm and her zest for life."
The book will feature a series of previously unpublished photographs documenting Amy Winehouse's creative development from north London to global acclaim, offering a "rare insight into the girl who became a legend".
Amy Winehouse died at the age of 27 from alcohol poisoning on July 23, 2011.
The singer's parents, Janis and Mitch, have helped curate the personal memorabilia that promises to give fans a better understanding of Amy Winehouse's inspirational mind.
"This exquisitely designed book reveals the real Amy Winehouse and delves into her unparalleled artistry," HarperCollins said in a statement.
"With the support of her parents and the Amy Winehouse Foundation, 'In Her Words' is truly a visual celebration of the singer's life and reflects her zest, exudes her strong spirit and unfolds her remarkable evolution into an award-winning and leading singer and songwriter", it is reported.
Amy Winehouse's parents, Janis and Mitch, write in the book's foreword: "This beautiful new collection of Amy's notes and thoughts shows another side of Amy – her fun and witty side."
"We wanted to share it with Amy's fans so they too can enjoy Amy, in her own words," they add.
Amy Winehouse's life will also be brought to the big screen in the upcoming biopic 'Back To Black' starring Marisa Abela and directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson.
