"APT." is part of Rosé’s debut solo album, rosie, which was released on December 6, 2024, alongside the music video for "toxic till the end." The album features 12 new songs, including “APT.” and “number one girl,” the latter co-written by Bruno Mars.
The song has received critical acclaim, earning a spot among the 50 Best Songs of 2024 and ranking in the 25 Best K-pop Songs of the Year. In a four-star review, NME’s Crystal Bell praised rosie for providing "a rare and deeply personal glimpse into Rosé beyond the superstar persona—revealing Rosie, a woman searching for acceptance, love, and meaning."
rosie marks Rosé’s first full-length album since her solo debut with the single album R in 2021, which featured "On The Ground" and "Gone." She also showcased her solo artistry with "Hard To Love" on BLACKPINK’s 2022 album Born Pink.
With APT. breaking records and rosie making waves, Rosé continues to prove her global impact as a solo artist.
