Rosalía and Rauw Alejandro decided to go their separate ways in their lives.
The famous Latin music couple, who announced their engagement in March, have split after more than three years together, People confirms.
Sources say that despite their love and respect for each other, the two artists have decided to end their engagement.
Rosalía and Rauw Alejandro have been dating since August 2021 and went public with their romance on social media the following month.
The plan was to keep their relationship a secret for as long as possible, but they decided to break the news themselves when paparazzi photographed them holding hands outside a restaurant in West Hollywood.
In March 2022, Rosalía stated that she had tattooed the letters "RR" on her leg, telling Teen Vogue that she had told Rauw Alejandro that she would tattoo the initials of their names. The Puerto Rican singer's real name is Ruiz.
The following month, Rauw Alejandro revealed that he had tattooed the name "Rosalía" above his belly button in handwritten font.
Last March, Rosalía and Rauw Alejandro announced the news of their engagement through the music video for their song 'Beso', which was included on their joint EP titled 'RR'.
During that time, they opened up about their relationship in an interview with Billboard, explaining what they've learned from each other and how they apply it to their work.
"Rosi has a more solid musical foundation than me, in the sense that I'm more outgoing in my music, but she's much more disciplined," said Rauw Alejandro.
“But she's a crazy workaholic. Piano lessons, dance lessons, singing lessons – what else can you learn when no one sings like you?” she continued.
"At first I didn't really get it, but after a while I said, 'OK, let's try to follow her lead and see.' And the difference is huge," he said.
Rosalía added that her fiance was "a lot more relaxed" than she was, which helped her keep her "balance."
"Of course my career is extremely important in my life, but at the same time in my life you are my partner and everything else comes second," he told Rauw Alejandro during the interview.
