Maluma claims that he is just a "good friend" of Kim Kardashian.

The 27-year-old singer has been rumored to have a relationship in recent months with the 40-year-old beauty, who divorced her husband Kanye West earlier this year, but he expresses his question about these scenarios, as he does not talk very often with Kim Kardashian.

When asked how the rumors started, Maluma told L'Officiel Hommes: "I do not even know! We were together at a Dior show. I met her for the first time there. I was also there with Kourtney (Kardashian). People just started talking about it. "I do not know why they started asking her about it."

"Maybe because she was getting her divorce? But no, we are good friends. "We do not talk so often, but yes, we are good friends and we always wish each other the best," he stressed.

Kim Kardashian, who has four children with Kanye West, has denied rumors linking her with either Maluma or political commentator Van Jones.

"Van sent me a message saying, 'This reputation has secured me so many dates and I'm so grateful I owe you,'" the reality star of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" revealed.

"I do not go out with either of them. Neither with Van Jones, nor with Maluma. I have seen Maluma a few times, always in Miami. "He is such a good man," he said.

Van Jones, who first met Kim Kardashian at the White House in 2018 while fighting for criminal justice reform, has called the scenarios "absurd."

"I never commented on the rumors that Kim Kardashian and I were having an affair, as I considered them absurd," she said, but acknowledged that it was "flattering" for the person with whom she was linked.
