Jennifer Lopez has revealed her long-held dream of creating a festive movie and album.
Speaking on The Graham Norton Show, the multi-talented star shared that she has twice begun work on Christmas music projects but was unable to complete them on time.
“I have always wanted to do a Christmas movie and I want to do a Christmas album,” she said. “I’ve started a couple of times, but you have to have it in by June, and I’m always behind schedule. Maybe one day.”
In a separate interview with People, Jennifer described herself as “a sucker for the holidays” and explained how she fully embraces the festive spirit.
“I love all of the decorations, the hot chocolate, the music, and the food,” she said. “I’m one of those people who really tries to make it feel like a storybook for my kids with all of those things.”
After what she described as a “pretty intense year,” including her divorce from Ben Affleck, the Waiting for Tonight singer is looking forward to slowing down and spending quality time with her 16-year-old twins, Max and Emme, as well as her extended family on the East Coast.
“The holidays are such a special time for us, and they’ve always been since I was a little girl,” she reflected. “I really look forward to moments when I can relax with my sisters, have fun, and create new memories. We don’t get to see each other all year, so it’s a chance to catch up on life and enjoy each other’s company. It’s just a beautiful time, and I really cherish it.”
