Fans are expressing heartbreak over reports that Sabrina Carpenter and Barry Keoghan have ended their relationship.

According to multiple outlets, the Espresso singer and the Saltburn actor have decided to part ways.

“They are both young and career-focused, so they’ve chosen to take a break,” a source told People magazine.

Although neither Sabrina, 25, nor Barry, 32, has publicly addressed the news, their fans were quick to react with sadness on social media.

“Omg, I’m heartbroken,” one Twitter user shared, accompanied by broken heart and sobbing emojis. Another fan posted, “Bummer. Oh no. Sad to hear,” while a Reddit user dramatically commented, “There is no God.”

The breakup comes just four months after rumors circulated that the couple had temporarily split. Back in August, a source revealed to People that their relationship had been "on and off."

Sabrina and Barry were first linked in December 2023 when they were spotted dining together in Los Angeles. Barry even appeared in the music video for Sabrina’s hit song Please Please Please and often praised her dedication and talent.

“I’ve never met anyone who works as hard as she does,” Barry said during an appearance on The Jess Cagle Show earlier this month. “Watching her on set, her commitment and the high standards she sets are inspiring. Especially on that music video, she knew exactly what she wanted and had a clear vision.”
