Adele recently described her encounter with Céline Dion at one of her Las Vegas shows as a "full-circle moment."
During her *Weekends with Adele* residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on Saturday night, Adele spotted the Canadian music legend in the audience while performing *When We Were Young*. She walked over, and the two embraced, both appearing tearful as they shared a few words.
Reflecting on the emotional moment via Instagram on Monday, Adele explained the special connection she feels to the venue, as The Colosseum was initially built for Céline's first residency in 2003. "I have been performing in Celine Dion's room at the Colosseum for almost 2 years now," she wrote. "Four weeks to go! It was the only venue I wanted to play in Vegas because it was built for her. I have a picture of her right next to the stage that I touch every night before I walk on, and she came to the show this weekend… it was a MOMENT!!"
Adele went on to express her deep admiration for Céline, thanking her for the surprise visit. "I love you so very, very much. Words will never sum up what you mean to me, or what it meant to see you back in your palace with your beautiful family," the 36-year-old singer added. "Saturday night will be something I remember forever. Such a full-circle moment for me. Thank you so much."
While Céline has yet to respond publicly, several celebrities shared their reactions to Adele's heartfelt post. Rita Ora commented, "I'm not crying... you are," Chrissy Metz added, "Oh my goodness," and Rita Wilson posted, "This is so full of love."
Adele’s residency at The Colosseum is scheduled to conclude on November 23.
