50 Cent recently shared why he declined a $3 million (£2.3 million) offer to perform at a Donald Trump rally.
The *In Da Club* rapper has hinted at supporting Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign, even posting photos of Trump attending one of his concerts in July after Trump made an appearance at a Pennsylvania rally. However, despite the sizable offer, 50 Cent felt he couldn’t perform at the 78-year-old politician’s rally at Madison Square Garden in New York on Sunday.
Speaking on *The Breakfast Club* radio show, he explained, “I got a call, but they wanted me for Sunday… They offered me $3 million.” He admitted he didn’t pursue it further, adding, “I’m afraid about politics. I don’t like any part of it.”
Clarifying his decision to stay out of political involvement, he shared, “When you do get involved, no matter what you think, someone strongly disagrees with you.”
On November 5, Americans will vote to determine whether current Vice President Kamala Harris or former President Trump will become the next U.S. leader.
While Trump’s campaign has reportedly struggled to attract high-profile supporters, Harris has received endorsements from major stars, including Taylor Swift and Jennifer Lopez. At a recent rally, Harris was even joined by Beyoncé, though reports suggest the *Drunk In Love* singer was paid a hefty $10 million (£7 million) for the appearance.
