Rockwell

There are, at least, six artists known as Rockwell. 1) A pseudonym of Kenneth Gordy, from Detroit, Michigan: The son of Motown Records' founder, Berry Gordy, he changed his name so as to avoid charges of nepotism, wanting to make it in the music business on just his talent. He signed to Motown as a solo artist without his father's knowledge, taking his name from his high school band. His first single, the Michael Jackson-esque "Somebody's Watching Me". which featured backing vocals from both Michael and Jermaine Jackson, shot into the Top Ten, hit number one on the R&B charts, and also was RIAA certified as Gold. Twinz

Twinz is a musical duo out of the Long Beach, California, the Twinz consist of Deon "Trip Loc" and Dewayne "Wayniac" Williams. After working with Warren G on his debut "G-Funk Era", the Twinz released their debut album Conversation in 1995, during which they found modest hits with "Round & Round" and "Eastside LB". Kabanjak

Kabanjak is a solo project of Ingo Möll, a musician, producer and DJ who has always had more than one string to his bow. He has made a name for himself as a remixer (works for the funk-infected US label Fort Knox or the German downbeat kings Mo' Horizons show his various approaches to music) and as one half of Ancient Astronauts.Most of Ingo Mölls output is released on Switchstance Recordings. Mattafix

Mattafix were a UK R&B/hip hop group made up of two members, Marlon Roudette and Preetesh Hirji. Their sound is a mix of hip hop, soul, reggae and dancehall. Mattafix released their first single "11.30 (Dirtiest Trick In Town)" as a limited edition single on Buddhist Punk Records on 31st January 2005. Their first full single, "Big City Life", released by EMI on 8th August 2005 was a considerable hit, managing a #15 peak on the official UK chart, a big feat for a UK R&B/hip-hop group, and topped the charts in Germany, Czech, Austria and other European countries.
