Alina Șleahtițkaia (known as Kaiia) (born July 18, 1990) is a Romanian singer.Kaiia was born in Ukraine but her family moved to the Republic of Moldova a few years after her birth. Her father is Ukrainian and her mother is Moldavian with Romanian backgrounds. Kaiia is the latest artist who joined MAAN Studio, the same team that created Alexandra Stan, in 2010 she came to Romania to take her chance but it wasn’t meant to be until February, 2012 when she signed the contract with MAAN Studio - Marcel Prodan and Andrei Nemirschi.
