Villagers

Villagers are an Irish band from Dublin fronted by Conor J. O'Brien.They have performed at several music festivals and toured with Tracy Chapman, Bell X1 and Tindersticks. They have one EP, titled Hollow Kind (2009). Their debut album Becoming a Jackal was released in 2010 and was shortlisted for that year's Mercury Prize and their second album {Awayland} was released in 2013.Conor O'Brien formed Villagers after the break-up of his previous band The Immediate. Lauri Johannes Ylönen (born 23 April 1979, Helsinki) is the frontman of the Finnish alternative rock band The Rasmus. Ylönen was born and grew up in Helsinki. He learned to play the piano when he was five years old, and later learned to play guitar and drums. When Ylönen was eight years old, he met Eero Heinonen (the bassist of The Rasmus) and they became close friends during the school year. Firewater is a rock group founded by Tod A. in 1995. He describes them as a "wedding band gone wrong".After Tod left his previous group, Cop Shoot Cop, he quickly regrouped and formed Firewater to explore the styles of music Cop Shoot Cop had only hinted at, including klezmer, cabaret, ska, jazz, and gypsy forms. Low

Low is a slowcore band formed in Duluth, Minnesota, United States in 1993, by Alan Sparhawk (guitar and vocals), Mimi Parker (drums and vocals) and original bassist John Nichols (bass guitar). Lhasa is a name of at least two acts:1) The performing name of Lhasa de Sela (1972-2010), who was a Canadian singer of Mexican and Jewish descent. Born in Big Indian, New York, she grew up in the United States and Mexico, and moved to Canada when she was twenty years old. After the success of her 1998 album La llorona, which mixes everything from traditional Mexican music to klezmer to alternative rock, she moved to France.
