Akro is a Belgian rapper from Brussels. In the 90s he was a member of the underground hip-hop group Starflam. The group never reached real mainstream succes but was appreciated for bringing an original sound combined with strong (French) lyrics. In 2006, Akro decided to start a solo career with the album 'L'encre, la sueur et le sang' best known for the single 'Bitches from Brussels'.

Bernhoft (alternatively typeset as Bern/hoft) is the stage name of Norwegian singer-songwriter Jarle Bernhoft. After becoming a solo artist in 2005 after the dissolution of Span, Bernhoft released some recordings, heavily inspired by the genres of soul, funk, and related musical styles, under his birth name.In 2011, he released the album Solidarity Breaks under the name Bernhoft, now based in Oslo, Norway.
