Jim Bakkum, born Jimmy Johannes Bakkum on August 10, 1987, in Egmond-Binnen, North Holland is a Dutch singer and actor.As a child he was encouraged to sing and act by his parents. He started a band with his older brother Danny and he performed in amateur theatre productions. In 2002, his brother suggested that he should audition for the Dutch TV talent programme "Idols". He became the youngest contestant at 15 years of age.After being voted into second place in the competition, he was signed by Wilde Productions and released his first single "Tell Her" in May 2003. Seville is a rock group formed in the winter of 2001, by Mike Marsh of the Agency and Dan Bonebrake of The Vacant Andys, joined the now-well-known Dashboard Confessional. They disbanded in 2003, with all members following other projects.Both The Agency and The Vacant Andys were South Florida favorites that ran out of steam around the time that Dashboard Confessional gained all its momentum. William Daron Pulliam (October 5, 1946 – June 9, 2013), who performed in the 1970s under the name Darondo, was a funk and soul singer from the San Francisco Bay Area. Although he is not widely recognized today, serious enthusiasts of the soul genre consistently rate him in high regard.
